The philosophies in Star Trek are kinda part of the actual setting. If you don’t get that, why are you allowed to make Star Trek movies.

Sigh. The whole point of Star Trek is that it’s philosophical. If you don’t want philosophical Science Fiction, there’s plenty of that for you to enjoy, but Star Trek is philosophical. Philosophy is part of Star Trek’s DNA, and if you’re given the captain’s chair, you’d better damn well respect that.

Um, I’m pretty sure he called himself stupid for not liking it when he was a kid. Watch the interview, this is very VERY abridged.
He just wants everyone to enjoy the Star Trek universe, and I’m pretty sure I would’ve never gotten into it without the 2009 movie.

Here’s a first look at Disney’s new animated feature Big Hero 6!

When it was first announced that Disney had purchased Marvel a question that crossed everyone’s mind was: What will be the first animated Marvel film? Looks like it’ll be Big Hero 6!

Here’s information on the project directly from Disney:

From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Big Hero 6,” an action comedy adventure about brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action and all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, the CG-animated “Big Hero 6” hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014.
