Skogsprins: Meet me at Stockholm’s international comic book festival!

So! Stockholms internationella seriefestival, Stockholm’s international comic book festival, is coming up this weekend! I will be in Stockholm at Kulturhuset among with lots of talented artists and sell stuff. Don’t be as shy as I tend to be - say hi! :D

Stockholm, T-centralen, Kulturhuset, 3rd floor. Saturday and Sunday, 11 AM to 6 PM.

The books (all of them are in Swedish) I have prepared for the festival are:

”ÅROR”: 84 A4 pages, black/white, 260 KR

The name of the comic, “Åror”, means “oars” in Swedish and refers to part of the story’s essence. “Åror” is about a meeting between two teens of different personalities, looks and social situations - but with one important thing in common, which pulls them together much tighter than they first expected. Their relationship that started out as shallow as most simple acquaintanceships do swiftly escalates into something darker, rawer, and incredibly important. 
Åror is the project I worked with for about a year. I brought the drawing pad that I kept the comic in with me at all times. Scrutinising myself and people around me along with the comic’s development made it an interesting journey creating the story.

”EGEN”: 60 A5 pages, full colour, 160 KR

Egen is a book which collects my one shot-comics as well as my short ones. Some are humorous, some are serious - most of them are a little bit of both. You will recognize many of them from this blog, but there are plenty which I have never published neither here nor any other place on the internet, including a very personal one.

”HÅLLA HAND”: 8 A5 pages, black/white, 20 KR

A short story which deals with the fear of being out as queer which is (sadly enough) based on a true story.

”PK-MAFFIAN”: 8 A6 pages, full colour, 20 KR

A short comic about casual oppression in Sweden, made into a neat little mini-zine!

Soooo… hurry up and get your grabby hands on my stuff if you want it, especially my books, since there’s not an infinite amount of copies available! If I get any left I will sell them to whoever’s interested.

The printed version of my webcomic Krig RAWR, do you like dinosaurs? Do you like dinosaurs fighting for their lives in a world of war? Then this comic is for you!

I will also do some live commissions at the festival! For just 30 kr I’ll draw you as a dinosaur of your own choice!

Kimberly, after getting kidnapped and losing a whole year of her life, she wakes up with the incredible of freezing and controlling water. Turns out she was the sacrifice to seal a Dragon King within a mortal body, and left to die.But for some reason her body instead absorbed the essence of the Dragon King wich infused her with the power over water. Her powers won’t only stop at freezing, as she develops she’ll learn to make it boil, control bigger masses of water and even have control over storms and rain. Her suit is obviously design to keeping her from freezing herself, or getting unnecessarily wet.
